Will Lampard take out Real in the Champions League?

Chelsea will host Chelsea in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge.

On April 12, Real beat Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg of the quarter finals in the Champions League at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea lost the competition under Frank Lampard, who replaced Graham Potter, after he failed to make an effort in the team.

Three times in a row Lamfard has lost three games in a row, since he took over the team at the interim level, two years after he was fired.

Lampard lost to Wolverhampton in his first game in charge of the Premier League.

He also lost at home to Real Madrid, and Brighton beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday in matchday 31.

The former Chelsea player coached the club for the first time between July 2019 and January 2021, replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Lampard - who was the club's top goalscorer when he played for Chelsea - has won 44 of his 84 games as manager.

Real brought this level, after beating Liverpool 6-2 home and away this season.

And Chelsea won against Borussia Dortmund by winning 2-1 home and away.

The Stamford Bridge team, which reached the semi-finals after defeating Dortmund, also faced Inter Milan and Dynamo Zagreb in the group.

Real Madrid, which leads the sixth group with 13 points, competes with RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic Glasgow.

Real is second in the La Liga table, while Chelsea is 11th at the bottom of the English Premier League table.

Real is the holder of last year's 14th cup in total, while Chelsea has two Champions Leagues.
