The Miyetti Allah Fulani Herdsmen Association of Nigeria says seven herdsmen were killed in an attack in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, while one went missing.
The leader of the group, Nura Abdullahi, said an attack on Tuesday killed five Fulani herdsmen and left one missing in Maiyanga village in Kwall area of Bassa Local Government Area, killing more than 100 cattle. .
The Daily Trust quoted Army spokesman Major Shittu Ibrahim as confirming the incident, saying they were still investigating.
