Kano State Government Spends N245 Million For Marriage To The Needy

The Kano State Government has decided to allocate N245 million to support the marriage of many men and women who are too old to get married.



The State Commissioner for Information, Mallam Mohammed Garba, made this known in a statement in Kano on Saturday. He also said that N244 million had been set aside for the Kano Pillars. The statement said the government had also allocated N29.3 million for the vaccination of animals which had been suspended for the past three years. He also said that N1.2 billion had been set aside for the rehabilitation of Ahmadu Bello Way in Kano and N212.9 million for the rehabilitation of the Dangote Women's Cluster at the Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
