 The Nigerian Army will work with the Chadian Army to fight terrorism in the North East.

During a visit to Ngamdu, Borno State, the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, said they would work with the Chadian army to end the Boko Haram insurgency in the north-eastern part of the country.

Major Attahiru made the remarks while addressing newsmen in Ngamdu. He met with the military officers under his care and promised to improve their operations and equip them to deal with the scourge of terrorism; He also assured them that their tears would be wiped away from all their troubles.

He added that the president was concerned about the escalation of terrorism in the region, which was the main reason for his visit and the encouragement of the military.
