The candidate for the House of Representatives seat under the NNPP party in Wudil and Garko constituency in Kano state, Kamilu Ado Isa has passed away.
He died on Sunday after a short illness.
This is coming less than a week before Nigeria's 2023 general election.
Ado Isa was the former Deputy Comptroller-General of the Civil Defense.
NNPP is one of the major political parties that are expected to play a prominent role in the upcoming elections.
