President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria has returned home after spending a week attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York City, USA.
The Special Assistant to the President on Media Malam Abdulaziz Abdulaziz confirmed this to the BBC, saying "President Tinubu returned home to Nigeria last night."
Concerns were expressed about where the president went after the meeting, seeing that all the team that covered him returned to the country, but he was not there.
That is why the opposition party PDP came out and said that citizens should be told where the president went to know the situation.
However, the Nigerian presidency said that there is nothing hidden about the president's visit, the PDP is just trying to hang President Tinubu's bag of punches so that they can follow him.
